Who or what is to blame for our current financial crisis? According to most politicians and media pundits, it was the free market that failed and government must now come to the rescue.

Matt will be joined this week by Mike Flynn of the Reason Foundation, a Los Angeles-based think tank, to discuss who is really responsible for creating an environment in which banks were lending to people they shouldn’t have lent to and consumers were borrowing more than they could afford. Then Matt will chat with Dr. Bill Dunkelberg, chief economist for the National Federation of Independent Businesses and professor of economics at Temple University, to find out what is happening to small businesses and if the bailout will actually work.
