Stefan Gleason of the National Right to Work Legal Defense Foundation talked about the union’s effort to eliminate the secret ballot. Rep. Kathy Rapp discussed her bill that stopped forcing teachers to pay fees to a union as a conidition of employment. Then Mike Reitz of the Evergreen Freedom Foundation in Washington state talked about his organization’s battle to prevent the WEA from using teachers’ dues for political purposes.
